Building Services Consultants were employed by the McAvoy Group to provide full Mechanical & Electrical building services design for the provision of a permanet four class base extension, of modular construction; including new office and staff accommodation at the front of the existing school site.
Fully zoned heating to the new extension was provided via low temperature fan convectors served by a pair of Daikin Altherma Monobloc air source heat pumps.
Energy efficient lighting was provided complete with absence detectionand daylight compensation.
Energy monitoring was delivered via a mini t-mac module and 8 No. DI pulse counting modules; providing real time data logging, with a graphical interface in the new reception, for engagement of staff and pupils in reducing school energy use.
